' EBC and WWF joins hands in order to protect the planet

QUEZON City, Philippines (April 5) – NET 25 has always been at the forefront of environmentally-friendly TV programs with the aim of raising the awareness of our viewer community in order for them to find viable ways in adopting low-impact lifestyles.

Eagle Broadcasting Corporation also adopts this point of view. As a matter of fact, it has partnered with several environmental organizations in order to achieve this vision. One of its more well-known environmental partner is the international organization World Wildlife Fund or WWF.

Last March 30, EBC and WWF renewed their ties with EBC’s President Jorge A. Cabacungan and Chief Operating Officer James Manzanero signing a memorandum of agreement with WWF’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jose Angelito Palma and Communications Manager Gregg Yan.

Said partnership continues the aim of spreading awareness regarding the important issues that are faced by our planet.

As part of said agreement, NET 25 was one of the official partners in the recently-held Earth Hour.

With this partnership, EBC continues to move forward to its aim of being the lead broadcast company in matters that have impact in our society.
