Eagle Broadcasting Corporation has always supported the environmental cause. In fact, it is home to “Klima ng Pagbabago”, an environmental program that aims to raise awareness regarding climate change.
Aiming to strengthen its environmental advocacy, EBC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
With the said MOU, EBC will be able to air content that promotes environmental awareness to its viewers.
EBC also spearheads promotion for the coming Earth Hour 2015 on March 28.
The MOU was signed by the WWF as represented by its officials, Mr. Jose Angelito Palma, President and CEO and Ms. Ethel Villanoy, Vice President for Marketing and Corporate Affairs. EBC was represented by its President, Mr. Jorge A. Cabacungan and COO, Mr, James L. Manzanero.
